ALBERT "KAYO" HARRIS (b?) worked as an Oakland Tribune photographer in the 1930s. He also ran a commercial photo business after World War II. but continued to maintain close ties with the newspaper industry, including work for the San Francisco Examiner. An additional information about this photographer would be greatly appreciated.

This is a nice, crisp, even toned vintage photograph featuring an image of Sharon Gray, a member of the Oakland Athens Club who won the 1959 and 1960 National Synchronized Swimming Team Championships. There are editorial notations on the back side as well as an Examiner stamp denoting the date (Feb. 9, 1962) that this picture was entered into their reference library. This 8" x 10" photograph has two 1/4" tears at the left edge, a light 2" crease at the top left corner, and other minor surface and edge wear. Otherwise, the photo is in great condition with full gloss.
