ARTHUR SARNOFF (1912 - 2000) was a painter and illustrator best known for his whimsical artwork featuring anthropomorphic dogs; one of his paintings, "The Hustler," was one of the best-selling prints of the 1950s. He contributed illustrations to a wide range of magazines, including McCall's, American Weekly, Collier's, Woman's Home Companion, Redbook, The American Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Esquire, and Good Housekeeping. This original painted preliminary art depicts a Four-H Club gathering, undated and exact useage unknown. The art is in very good condition with light overall wear and a vertical fold down the middle.
