Black New Era San Francisco Giants cap worn by the newest King of the Longball, Barry Bonds. Features three tags in the headband -- "Diamond Collection" tag, New Era brand tag and "7 1/4" size tag. A sharpie "25" has been written on the underside of the brim, along with his children's names. Cap shows a fair amount of wear with expected soiling in the headband. Impressive headwear from the legendary slugger Barry Bonds.

BARRY BONDS (b. 1964) is the son of former major league All-Star Bobby Bonds, godson of Hall of Famer Willie Mays, nephew of 1964 Olympian Rosie Bonds, and a distant cousin of Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson. He debuted in the Major Leagues with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1986 and joined the San Francisco Giants in 1993, where he stayed through 2007. Bonds filed for free agency following the 2007 World Series. Bonds' accomplishments place him among the greatest baseball players of all-time. He has a record-setting seven Most Valuable Player awards, including a record-setting four consecutive MVPs. He is a fourteen-time All-Star and eight-time Gold Glove-winner. He holds numerous Major League Baseball records, including the all-time Major League Baseball home run record with 762 and the single-season Major League record for home runs with 73 (set in 2001), and is also the all-time career leader in both walks (2,558) and intentional walks (688).
