BOB LEMON (1920 - 2000) was a right-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1976. Born in San Bernardino, California, Lemon attended Wilson Classical High School in Long Beach, California where he was the CIF and State Baseball Player of the Year in 1938. He virtually had three careers in the baseball: one as a light-hitting left-handed-batting third baseman, another as a stellar right-handed pitcher, and the last as a successful major league manager. Signature on a blank postcard postmarked 7-19-49. Postcard measures 3.25" x 5.5" and is in very good condition with minor overall wear. Includes LOA from PSA/DNA.
