MAXFIELD PARRISH (1870-1966) is arguably one of America's most successful and beloved artists. His brightly colored images of nymphets and idyllic landscapes produced for the Edison Mazda calendars have maintained their appeal for nearly a century. This is an original vintage cover print, featuring an image of the Three Wise Men by Maxfield Parrish, which was produced for the Dec. 1900 cover of Scribner's Magazine Christmas issue. There is minor edge wear to the piece and creasing along the left side. Otherwise, this piece is in nice solid condition. It has an overall size of 5.75" x 9.5". - No other part of the magazine is included with this cover piece.
