SAMMY DAVIS JR. (1925 - 1990) was a well-known and beloved entertainer, known for his hit song "The Candy Man," and his many TV appearances. Primarily a dancer and singer, Davis was a childhood vaudevillian, and became internationally famous for his performances on Broadway and in Las Vegas. He was also a recording artist, television and film star, and the only black member of Frank Sinatra's "Rat Pack." 8" x 10" still date-stamped 12-1-88 on the reverse (among other later date-stamps). Very good condition with minor corner creasing and surface wear. |
